The Linguistic Landscape of COVID-19
Project team delivered a series of webinars on the use of Linguistic Landscapes in English language teaching and learning contexts. The events were organized in a digital format due to the conditions of the pandemic outbreak. Nearly 160 participants attended the webinars, which were delivered multiple times at different nights. The attendees consisted of English language teachers from 24 different cities in Turkey and English language teacher candidates studying at 20 different universities across the country. The sessions were completed with digital games which created an opportunity for participants to earn mini prizes. All participants received e-certificates of attendance following the webinars. The LLinELTProject is expected to be completed with the organization of an international symposium on LL in L2 Teaching and Learning Contexts in mid-December.
